Thought investing was a boys club? Let us womensplain.
If investing feels scary, you’re not alone. Only 23%* of women feel really confident about where they’re sticking their cash. The information out there about investing is overwhelming, conflicting and usually doesn’t take your values or the planet into consideration. No wonder 77% of us aren’t sure how to make our money work for us.

About Hannah
Meet Hannah,
Your Resident money maker
Investing is personal. So, let’s get personal
I’m going to be honest with you. I had zero intention of building a career in the finance industry.
But life threw me some curveballs and my investing journey started after my Dad died. I went from being a student with zero financial knowledge or connections to wading through grief and trying to figure out what the f people did with money. I couldn’t find a finance professional I trusted, who didn’t charge a fortune and who also shared my concerns about the environment and investing ethically so I taught myself.
meet hannah
The investments I made quickly started to grow and I started sharing what I’d learnt with my friends.
I soon realised there were so many women who wanted to learn this but didn’t have someone there to explain it to them in a way that made sense.
The finance industry has done a really bad job at making things simple and understandable which is why I created What is Wealth.
I have a Diploma for Financial Advisers from London Institute of Banking and Finance but What is Wealth is an alternative to financial advice because some things are too important to leave to someone else. I believe with the rise in accessible investing platforms learning how to manage your own finances and investments is a smart move.
