Three Questions

Three questions I ask myself when investing:

 DOES IT MATCH MY VALUES?

I want to do as much as I can to make sure my money isn't flowing to any companies or industries that are harming the world.

IS IT PASSIVE?

I don't do trading. I don't want to spend my days tracking and trading and buying low and selling high. That's not for me. I want something that I can be sure will be growing steadily without my intervention.

Our economic model is designed for long term growth so I do my research upfront, invest and then leave it be.

IS IT LONG-TERM?

Investments fluctuate so I need to be prepared to leave it there to grow for at least five years.

Then when my future self wants to use it there *should* be more there than I have put in.

Most passive investments work best in the long term so you need to have patience.

Knowing your decision making criteria for investments makes everything a lot simpler.
